Razor RSF350 Electric Street Bike Review…

The first thing we noticed about the Razor RSF350 is its authentic street-bike design, with the trellis frame feature and the custom made 10″ 3 spoke mag wheels giving it a really cool look. The wheels also have inflatable street tires which provide good grip and also give some cushioning against minor road bumps.

This bikes high performance 350 W , high-torque , chain driven motor is located in the rear wheel hub and is powered by a 24V (2 X 12V) sealed lead acid rechargeable battery, and controlled by via the variable-speed twist grip throttle located on the handlebars. Fully charged, which takes approximately 3 hours using the wall charger included with the bike, the battery holds enough power for 30 minutes of continuous riding at speeds of up to 14 mph.

The angle of the riser style handlebars can be adjusted to suit the individual rider for a more comfortable ride, and the seat is fairly comfortable too. The handlebar grips are made from soft rubber making them easier on the hands, and the lever for the rear mechanical disc brake is also easy and comfortable to operate, and gives great stopping power instantly.

The Razor RSF350 street bike also has a ‘hidden’ storage compartment located where the petrol tank on a standard motorcycle would be, and which is ideal for carrying smaller items, a rear kickstand for when the bike isn’t in use, and folding metal footpegs…

However, this electric street bike doesn’t have any lights or reflectors, suspension or shock absorbers, or a horn.

That being said, this is a great little electric motorcycle to ride. Kids just love it, and so do some adults too.

ANCHEER Folding Electric Bicycle/E-Bike/Scooter Review…

One of the first things you may notice about this Ancheer folding electric bike/scooter is how small it looks, but this bike can be comfortably ridden by people standing 6ft tall, and weighing up to 265 l

This bike no doubt gets its impressive strength from its lightweight aluminium alloy frame, it weighs just 26.5 lbs, and folds down for easy carrying, and easy storage when not in use. It is actually the handlebar stem which folds down and not the frame, you just release a catch and fold it down, and there you have it…instant portability, great if you live in a high rise apartment, or need to store your bike in the office or workplace during the day.

This nippy little e-bike is powered by a 36V 6Ah lithium-ion battery, which can be fully charged in less than 3 hours and is then good for short journeys of up to 12 miles. To start with the Ancheer folding electric bicycle only reaches a top speed of around 8 mph. This is where the App comes in. Once you have clocked up 10 miles on the odometer, the bikes speed limiter switches off and you can then reach speeds of up to 25 km/h.

The App also allows you to lock the bike when not in use, or it is left unattended for any reason, and also displays battery levels and charging progress, as well as monitoring your mileage, speed and time.

The driving force behind the Ancheer folding electric bike is its 350W high speed motor situated in the rear wheel hub. The motor is powerful enough to reach speeds of 25 km/h on the flat, however it’s not so good on hills, slopes of 10° or less are fine for distances of up to 50 m when carrying up to 160 lbs, but anything steeper and the bike will struggle.

Ancheer also claim that this folding electric bike/scooter is waterproof however ‘splashproof’ may be a more accurate description. The battery is well sealed and the bike is safe to ride in the rain, however we wouldn’t recommend leaving it out in the rain or riding it through any deep puddles just in case.

The bike also has front and rear lights and an electric horn for safety when riding at night, both of which are operated via push button controls located on the handlebars, along with the power button, cruise control button, and the twist grip throttle.

The Ancheer folding electric bike/scooter is pretty comfortable to ride, the saddle is a basic padded saddle like you would find on most decent quality bikes, it is light and easy to manouevre, and the rear disc brake is more than enough to stop the bike effectively when necessary.

All in all, this is a great little electric bike/scooter for whizzing around town, perfect for commuting and nipping in and out of traffic, plus its a lot of fun to ride too.

Shaofu Folding Electric Bicycle Review…

This is a great electric bike for anyone looking for sheer convenience. It folds down quickly and easily and can be stored away in a standard size car boot, under a desk or pretty much any other small space out of the way. Once folded down, and weighing just 26.5 lbs due to its lightweight aluminium construction, it is also light enough to be carried short distances.

This Shaofu bikes ‘Dolphin frame’ design gives it a unique look while also housing the removable and rechargeable 36V 8Ah lithium-ion battery inside the actual frame itself, thus sealing and protecting it from the elements and making the bike waterproof and able to be used in all weathers. The battery is easily charged on , or off the bike via the bikes easy charge port feature and is fully charged in 4-6 hours.

The bike is driven by a 350W motor and can cover distances of up to 12.4 miles on a single charge, however the exact distance of travel is dependent on the weight of the rider, the less you weigh, the farther you will be able to travel. The maximum speed of this bike is approximately 15.5 mph, again this will vary according to the wight of the user. Another thing to remember with this bike is that it is designed for use on flat roads, so climbing steep slopes is definitely out.

The maximum speed and slope climbing capabilities of the Shaofu folding electric bike can be adjusted via the Bluetooth App which enables the bike to climb slopes of less than 10° incline for a distance of up to 50 meters when carrying less than 160 lbs.

For effective stopping this Shaofu electric bike is fitted with rear disc brakes which cut the engine when the levers are pulled, and are more than adequate to stop the bike even when travelling at maximum speed, and for added safety when riding at night it also has a powerful LED headlight, a taillight, and a horn, both of which are operated via push button controls on the handlebars.

Although the saddle is pretty comfortable, and the Shaofu folding electric bike is a pretty comfortable bike to ride, it does have small 12 inch wheels, and even with the air filled tires you will still feel the bumps if you ride it on rough surfaces.

Other than that, this is a great little folding ebike and well worth a look!

Tomasar Power Electric Bike Review…

This ebike looks very similar to the Ancheer Power Plus electric mountain bike which we reviewed previously, which if you missed, you can read about here. The Tomasar Power electric bikes frame is built in the standard mountain bike style, from 100% aluminium alloy making it lightweight while being exceptionally strong and durable.

The saddle tube and pedals are also made from aluminium alloy, and the bikes 26″ wheels are double layer aluminum alloy for maximum performance, strength, and they look great too. The tires are high quality lithium, making them longer lasting than tires of a lesser quality, along with giving excellent traction on all types of terrain, and both wheels are fitted with good quality disc brakes for effective stopping even at the bikes top speed of 15 mph.

The bikes front fork is made of high quality carbon steel and features premium comfort shock absorbing technology for a comfortable ride even on bumpy ground, and which also has a fitted powerful LED headlight for safer riding at night, and which is operated by a button on the bikes handlebars.

Also on the handlebars you will find the power switch for the horn, the front and rear brake levers, the power throttle for when you want the motor to do all the work, the gear change lever for the bikes 21-speed Shimano gear system, plus the power display console which allows you to select riding mode and level of power assistance during your ride.

The seat of this Tomasar bike is really quite comfortable for a bike in this class and can be adjusted to suit riders from around 5ft 1 ins, all the way up to 6ft 1 ins. The handlebars can also be adjusted.

This electric mountain bike is driven by a powerful high speed 250W brushless gear motor which is powered by the removable 36V 8Ah rechargeable lithium-ion battery situated below the bikes crossbar. The battery locks in place on the bikes frame and can be either charged on the bike, or easily removed and charged elsewhere in around 4-6 hours. Once charged, the battery holds enough power for a ride of up to 70 km, while carrying a load of up to 330 lbs.

The Tomasar Power Electric Bike can be used as a Power Assisted Bike with 3 levels of assistance to help speed up a journey, or power up any inclines you may encounter on your journey. The amount of ‘push’ that you get is really noticeable, even at the lowest power level, and really does make a difference to your overall ride…

Ancheer Folding Electric Bike Review…

One of the first tings you will notice on receiving your Ancheer 20″ folding bike is that there is a small amount of assembly to be done before it is ready to use, tools and instructions are included and you should be all done in 30-60 mins. And once your bike is fully assembled and the battery charged you are ready to go.

As far as looks go, the Ancheer folding electric bike may not be quite as stylish as the Swagcycle EB-5 and EB-7, however it is still a pretty cool looking bike. The frame is constructed from aluminium alloy making it really durable while also being very lightweight making it easy to carry when folded down. To fold the bike down you just release the locking latch on the frame and literally fold the bike in half.

Folding this electric bike, as mentioned above, is also how you get to the 36V 8Ah lithium-ion battery which is housed inside the actual frame,unlike on some electric bikes where it is attached to the seat post. Being inside the frame the battery is protected from the elements and can be charged either on or off the bike in 4-6 hours using the Smart Lithium Battery Charger.

The Ancheer folding electric bike is driven by a 250W high speed brushless electric motor and can travel up to 30 miles on a single charge at speeds of up to 15 mph, and carrying loads of up to 150 kg/330 lbs.

For safe and efficient stopping this electric bike is fitted with a standard bike front brake, you will have to disconnect this to fit the front wheel and then reconnect it, and a rear disc brake, that do work well together when applied.

The 20″ wheels on this Ancheer folding electric bike are made from a double layer aluminium alloy giving them strength and stability while remaining light for a smoother ride with less feeling of drag, and the front forks which are made from high strength carbon steel have pretty decent shock absorbers for a more comfortable ride.

And for safer night riding, this particular Ancheer folding electric bike also comes with a fairly loud horn, plus a strong and bright LED headlight, both of which, along with the bikes 7-speed Shimano gears and the power control display, are operated via the controls on the handlebars, which along with the seat can be adjusted in height to suit taller riders comfortably.

All in all this is a pretty decent bike. It has 2 working modes. You can use it as an electric bike and not have to pedal at all, just let the motor do all the work, or you can use it as an assisted bike. In assisted mode you have the choice of 3 levels of assistance. The difference in these levels is very noticeable and the bike can also handle inclines that aren’t overly steep with ease.

The saddle is comfortable, the bike may need a bit of getting used to in terms of maneuverability for some riders, particularly on corners, but it doesn’t take much practice to overcome. The tires are decent quality too and are good on rough and smooth surfaces, making this bike suitable for off road riding, and when you get to where you’re going, there’s a kickstand too.

When all is said and done the Ancheer folding electric bike is a very good ride.

The first thing that probably springs to mind when you first see the Swagtron Swagcycle EB-7 Elite is how stylishly compact it looks. Something of a cross between a traditional bike, a scooter, and an e-bike, but with the added feature of being totally collapsible.

This electric bikes lightweight yet incredibly strong aluminium alloy frame has a quick-release latch, four fold design and can be folded down, or up, in around 15 seconds, making it incredibly easy to carry and store away when not in use.

The EB-7 Elite Folding Electric Bike is driven by an efficient 350 W high torque electric motor which enables riders up to 264 lbs to travel up to 15.5 miles on electric power alone at speeds of over 18 mph, and can easily handle inclines of up to 25°.

The motor is powered by the bikes 36V 5,2Ah lithium-ion battery which can be fully charged in just 3-4 hours which is a faster charging time than most other electric bikes. The battery is housed inside the bikes frame and locks securely in place. In addition, the battery is also swappable so you never get caught without any power, however this bike only comes with 1 battery so you would need to purchase a second battery separately.

The Swagtron Swagcycle EB-7 Elite is an exceptionally comfortable ride too. The 16″ air filled tires grip surfaces well and give some cushioning against minor bumps. To ensure you stop on time, every time, the Swagtron EB-7 is fitted with dual-disc brakes that have special Autoguard technology, which works by cutting the motor when the brake levers are pulled giving extra-reliable stopping power for a safer ride.

The bike is also features an electric horn which to be honest sounds more like a lorry reversing than a horn, a really bright LED headlight for safer night riding, a rear reflector fitted below the seat and reflector bars on the pedals. There is also a kickstand and an LCD display on the handlebars so you can keep an eye on your speed and batter levels as you ride.

The first thing we should say about this Ecotric ebike is that it comes 90% assembled, the rest you will need to do yourself or have someone do it for you. There’s not much to do, it’s just a matter of fitting the pedals, seat, front fender and front tire, and attaching the control module to the handlebars. All in all you can have it up and running in around 30-40 minutes.

Once you have it fully assembled, probably the first thing you will notice is how stylishly cool, yet rugged this fat tire bike looks. Built around a folding aluminum alloy frame, this bike is lightweight while being incredibly strong and designed for riders up to 6 ft tall and weighing up to 240lbs. The frame can also be folded down via a quick release pin making it super easy to carry and store.

The Ecotric 20″ bike is driven by a powerful 500W brushless geared motor which is powered by a 36V 12Ah lithium battery in a sealed pack, and which is removable and can be charged either off or on the bike. The battery can be fully charged in 6-8 hours and there are red and green charge indicator lights on the battery, transformer, and handlebars.

Once fully charged the battery holds enough power to for the bike to travel up to 21 miles on a flat, paved road at speed of up to 20 mph. This bike does have some limited climbing ability as long as the incline isn’t too steep or to long, although paved mountain roads are no problem.

This Ecotric electric bike is also fitted with Shimano 7-Speed external gears for a smoother and more comfortable ride, however it does not have any suspension or shock absorbers so you will feel the bumps on rougher terrain. Both wheels are fitted with Tektro Novela Mechanical Disc 160mm Rotor brakes which are more than adequate for a bike of this size and speed.

This electric bicycle is built around a lightweight aluminium frame, it weighs just 37lbs/16.8kg and has a triple-folding design to give you ultimate portability along with numerous storage possibilities. When you have your Swagtron EB-5 electric bike folded down you can stow it away in practically any compact space; in a closet, the trunk of your car, even under your desk, you can even take it on the subway with you!

The Swagcycle EB-5 also has a fully height adjustable seat and handlebars and can be adjusted to be ridden comfortably by riders ranging from approximately 4ft 7 ins, all the way through to 5ft 11ins tall. There is also a latch on the handlebars that can be released to rotate the whole handlebar through a full 360° to put your wrists in the most comfortable grip position as you ride.

This ebike is powered by a 250W hub motor which features an inbuilt high-efficiency aluminium heat sink to help prevent overheating and ensure optimum performance, and is powered by a long lasting, rechargeable 36V Lithium-Ion battery which can be fully charged in just 4-5 hours via the bikes on board charging port with inbuilt water resistant plug for protection against the elements.
