Tomasar Power Electric Bike Review…
This ebike looks very similar to the Ancheer Power Plus electric mountain bike which we reviewed previously, which if you missed, you can read about here. The Tomasar Power electric bikes frame is built in the standard mountain bike style, from 100% aluminium alloy making it lightweight while being exceptionally strong and durable.
The saddle tube and pedals are also made from aluminium alloy, and the bikes 26″ wheels are double layer aluminum alloy for maximum performance, strength, and they look great too. The tires are high quality lithium, making them longer lasting than tires of a lesser quality, along with giving excellent traction on all types of terrain, and both wheels are fitted with good quality disc brakes for effective stopping even at the bikes top speed of 15 mph.
The bikes front fork is made of high quality carbon steel and features premium comfort shock absorbing technology for a comfortable ride even on bumpy ground, and which also has a fitted powerful LED headlight for safer riding at night, and which is operated by a button on the bikes handlebars.
Also on the handlebars you will find the power switch for the horn, the front and rear brake levers, the power throttle for when you want the motor to do all the work, the gear change lever for the bikes 21-speed Shimano gear system, plus the power display console which allows you to select riding mode and level of power assistance during your ride.
The seat of this Tomasar bike is really quite comfortable for a bike in this class and can be adjusted to suit riders from around 5ft 1 ins, all the way up to 6ft 1 ins. The handlebars can also be adjusted.
This electric mountain bike is driven by a powerful high speed 250W brushless gear motor which is powered by the removable 36V 8Ah rechargeable lithium-ion battery situated below the bikes crossbar. The battery locks in place on the bikes frame and can be either charged on the bike, or easily removed and charged elsewhere in around 4-6 hours. Once charged, the battery holds enough power for a ride of up to 70 km, while carrying a load of up to 330 lbs.
The Tomasar Power Electric Bike can be used as a Power Assisted Bike with 3 levels of assistance to help speed up a journey, or power up any inclines you may encounter on your journey. The amount of ‘push’ that you get is really noticeable, even at the lowest power level, and really does make a difference to your overall ride…
Or it can be used solely as an e-bike. In this mode you don’t need to do any pedaling at all, just sit, relax, twist the throttle and let the motor do all the work as you sit back and enjoy your ride!
