Ancheer Folding Electric Mountain Bike Review…
The first thing you will probably notice about this Ancheer Electric Bike is how sleek and stylish it looks. It has a modern, up-to-the-minute, mountain bike design, even with the odd looking battery pack attached to the handlebars, and it has to be said, looks pretty good in both the black/blue, and white/blue color options.
The Ancheer folding electric mountain bike is built around an aluminium alloy frame that is incredibly strong whilst being very lightweight, and can be folded literally in half by removing the lever controlled steel pin situated on the frame just above the motor. Once collapsed the bike the bike becomes instantly portable and fits easily into the trunk of a car.
The frame is also coated with an anti-exposure and rust resistant paint to giving this stylish ebike maximum protection from the elements during use in wet, rainy, and even snowy riding conditions.
The handlebars, saddle tube, and pedals are also made from the same aluminium alloy, and the 26″ bead spoke wheels are made from double layer aluminium alloy making them super strong and they are fitted with thick, anti-slip, wear resistant, high quality lithium tires for improved riding comfort, grip and durability, and which are great for riding in wet and wintry weather conditions.
This bike also has high strength carbon steel front suspension forks that work in conjunction with the rear suspension, which is located beneath the saddle tube, to adequately neutralize any lumps and bumps which may otherwise toss you about all over the place and spoil the whole riding experience.
The Ancheer Electric Mountain Bike is driven by a powerful 250 W high speed brushless electric motor which is powered by a large capacity rechargeable 36 V 8Ah Lithium-Ion battery which allows the rider to travel at speeds of up to 25 MPH, for distances of up to 15½ miles when using as an e-bike, and up to 31 miles when using as an assisted bike, on a single charge. The battery is charged from a Smart Lithium battery charger which takes 4-6 hours and can only be charged while connected to the bike.
This Ancheer ebike is also fitted with a 21-speed Shimano gear change system which is easily operated from the controls situated on the bike handlebars, you use the lever to move up through the gears, and the button to move down giving the bike the excellent climbing ability it needs to take hills and inclines in its stride.
There is also a meter on the handlebars next to the gear lever that you use to power up the bike and then use to adjust the ‘pedal assist’ mode between its’ low’, ‘med’, and ‘high’ settings. This meter is also used to turn off the ‘pedal assist’ mode so the bike can be used purely as an e-bike via the throttle.
The Ancheer Folding Electric Mountain Bikes stopping power comes from the front and rear dual disc brakes, and night riding is made safer by the powerful LED headlight and the horn which is operated by a button on the handlebars.
The only things about this Ancheer electric bike that may be an issue for some people are the saddle, which some people found slightly uncomfortable, but which can be easily replaced, and the closeness of the kickstand to the left pedal. Other than that, the Ancheer Folding Electric Mountain Bike is a pretty decent zero emissions electric bike that does what it says on the tin!
